Health benefits of a Hunter Humidifier

Proper Humidification Can:

• Reduce vulnerability to infection by keeping mucous membranes moist and allowing cilia (tiny hairs in the nose and throat) to continue working to eject foreign matter caught in the air.
• Prevent dry, itchy skin.
• Relieve cold symptoms.
• Relieve chapped lips.
• Reduce unpleasant static electricity.
• Help keep valuable furnishings from cracking.

Today’s well-insulated homes and offices, energy-efficient heating systems and sealed windows can all produce an unpleasant side effect: dry air. Dry air not only creates annoying problems like static electricity and damaged furniture, it can actually be bad for you! In fact, physicians unanimously agree that proper humidification is a prerequisite to good health.

But we have the solution for you with our hunter humidifiers with PermaWick™ hunter humidifier filter, hunter humidifier with NiteGlo™, humidifiers with humidistat, and a humidifier that is built for superior performance and low maintenance. It’s what you’d expect. After all, we’ve been quietly improving indoor air since 1886!

Whilst everyone agrees on the benefits of proper humidification, finding the right hunter humidifier can be a real chore. Too many humidifiers have too many problems. Problems like difficult and expensive maintenance, water tanks that are hard to fill and carry, designs that unintentionally create ideal breeding grounds for mold and bacteria—and then there’s that awful white dust that settles on everything!

That’s why choosing a Hunter Humidifier is so important! We’ve designed these products for high quality performance without high maintenance hassles! They’re easy to use, easy to clean, and easy to love!

Its important that we add humidity to our homes. Humidity is the amount of moisture or water vapor in the air. People often feel more comfortable when they use a humidifier to maintain the relative humidity within the range 40 and 60 percent. If the humidity is too low, you may experience physical discomforts such as a dry throat, nose, lips and skin. Low humidity also causes static electricity, peeling wallpaper, cracks in drywall, furniture and wood moldings. humidifiers with levels to high will cause a room to feel stuffy and create an environment in which mold and mildew can thrive. Moisture is often added or removed from indoors to make a you feel more comfortable.

There are several types of hunter humidifiers, as follows:

Console humidifiers are in cabinets that generally sit on the floor and are usually kept in the same area in the home.

A Portable hunter humidifier is smaller than consoles, so they can be easily moved from room to room. Easy to fill water tank and clean the hunter filter or replace the hunter humidifier filter.

Ultrasonic, which create a cool mist using ultrasonic underwater speaker cone to vibrate the water at high frequencies. create a cool mist using a high-speed rotating disk
Evaporative, as in the hunter humidifier which add moisture into the air using a fan to blow air through a moistened absorbent hunter humidifier filter.
Steam vaporizer (warm mist), which create steam by heating water with a heating element, and allow steam to cool before it is released into the surrounding air.
A central humidifier is built into heating and/or air-conditioning system, and are used to increase the humidity in the entire home.

Impeller humidifiers and Ultrasonic generally disperse more microorganisms and minerals into a room than the hunter humidifiers. Evaporative and Steam Vaporizer humidifiers with water tanks that hold water that can allow for growth of microorganisms, but with the hunter humidifier filter and plastic parts and hunter humidifier filter wicks have permanent, built-in anti-microbial properties to inhibit the growth of bacteria, molds and fungi that may affect these parts generally disperse less, if any, of these pollutants into the air when compared to Impeller models and Ultrasonic units.

To get the best performance from your hunter filter, follow the manufacturer's instructions regarding the use, maintenance, cleaning and replacement of any humidifier filter for your humidifier.

Use water in your hunter humidifier with low mineral content to help prevent the build-up of water deposits on your hunter filter. Hard water found in most areas of the country can cause crusty deposits in humidifiers. Minerals in the hard water can be circulated into the air, causing white dust to appear on surfaces especially when using ultrasonic units. Typically distilled water has lower mineral content than tap water, so less amounts of minerals will be dispersed in the air when using hunter humidifiers. The Environmental Protection Agency has not determined that steam and evaporative vaporizers disperse measurable amounts of minerals in the air, so the use of distilled water is unnecessary.

Clean portable humidifier and humidifier filter every third day of continuous use or as necessary. Turn off and unplug the unit when assembling or disassembling it. Empty the tank and use a brush or scrubber to clean it. Remove any scale on the humidifier filter, deposits, or film that have accumulated on the sides of the tank or interior surfaces, and wipe all surfaces dry. It is not necessary to dry your hunter humidifier filter.

Do not let the area around the humidifiers to become wet. With proper care of your hunter humidifiers and regular maintenance hunter humidifier filter, your humidifier should last for several years.
